SIA Hotel Thermal & Spa

Lighting for a thermal resort in which the public areas, the wellness zones and the guest rooms each demanded a different atmosphere from the same visual family. Character fixtures anchor the lobby and social areas, while softer, glare-free lighting supports the calm expected in the spa and treatment zones.

Our Design Approach

At SIA Hotel Thermal & Spa, the public areas, wellness sections and guest rooms were brought together in a single lighting story. In the lobby and restaurants the statement chandeliers of the collection strengthen the sense of welcome, while in the thermal and spa sections the light turns into a soft, restful layer that works together with steam, water surfaces and natural stone. Dimmable scenarios were planned for the relaxation areas, and functional but calm illumination for the treatment rooms.

Light in Thermal and Spa Areas

Demanding conditions such as humidity, steam and chlorine were decisive in fixture selection: all wet-area units were produced with high IP protection and corrosion-resistant bodies. Reflection control on the pool surface prevents glare, and heat-resistant special solutions were used in the saunas and steam rooms. Along the spa route the colour temperature is lowered in stages, supporting the guest in slowing down mentally.

Continuity on the Accommodation Floors

On the room floors, corridor, room and bathroom lighting were designed in one language, and night wayfinding lights work at energy-friendly low levels. The whole system was delivered with long-life sources suited to the hotel's year-round operating tempo.

Process and Warranty

As in every project, the process began with a survey: the space was measured, sample units were submitted for approval, production was completed in our workshop and installation was carried out by our own team. All fixtures were delivered with long-life LED sources and easy-to-maintain standard lamp holders and access details. After handover, a commissioning visit fine-tuned the light levels under real conditions of use; our products are covered by warranty against manufacturing defects.
