L’Olivetto Restaurant

A garden restaurant composed around a classical row of stone columns, where the lighting had to read as a single family both inside and out. Woven rattan pendants run along the vaulted loggia and terrace, holding a warm, low glow against the stone surface. In the interior hall, tasselled silk pendants and table lamps establish a darker, more intimate tone.

Our Design Approach

L’Olivetto in Ataşehir is a garden restaurant set around a classical row of stone columns; the interior hall, the vaulted loggia and the terrace were all lit within one family language. Woven wicker pendants running along the vault give the stone texture a warm, low glow, while in the interior hall tasselled silk pendants and table lamps establish a darker, more intimate tone. The sculptures and the fountain were brought into the night silhouette with narrow-beam concealed accents.

Continuity Between Inside and Out

Moving from the garden to the hall, the guest is met by the same colour temperature; only the textures change. The outdoor units were produced with weather-resistant finishes, and the heater lines and planting were coordinated so as not to clash with the lighting. As evening service goes on, brightness falls in stages, and towards closing the garden settles into an atmosphere at candlelight intensity.

Custom-Made Details

The frames of the wicker pendants and the silk shades were hand-made in our workshop; the drop of every unit was adjusted on site against the level of the vault. For maintenance, all units were resolved with easily accessible suspension details, and the light sources were chosen from long-life LED modules.

Process and Warranty

As in every project, the process began with a survey: the space was measured, sample units were submitted for approval, production was completed in our workshop and installation was carried out by our own team. All fixtures were delivered with long-life LED sources and easy-to-maintain standard lamp holders and access details. After handover, a commissioning visit fine-tuned the light levels under real conditions of use; our products are covered by warranty against manufacturing defects.
