Ziraat GYO A.Ş. Göztepe Guesthouse

A corporate guesthouse in which the lighting had to feel hospitable without losing corporate restraint. Reception, lounge and accommodation areas were treated as an unbroken sequence, and the fixtures were scaled to the ceiling height of each space.

Our Design Approach

At the Ziraat GYO A.Ş. Göztepe Guesthouse the brief was to establish the warmth of hospitality inside a corporate building. A chandelier of appropriate scale in the welcome hall, pairs of pendants and floor lamps in the sitting rooms, and headboard wall lights in the guest rooms created an arrangement with the comfort of a hotel. A restrained material palette in keeping with the corporate identity was chosen: satin brass, opal glass and dark metal details.

Guesthouse Comfort

In guesthouse lighting the aim is the balance between corporate seriousness and the warmth of a home. Airy illumination was planned in the public areas for daytime meetings and receptions, with dimmer levels suited to relaxation in the evening. The dining room gained an arrangement suited to formal occasions with rhythmic pendants along the long tables. Colour temperature was held constant in all rooms, ensuring consistency throughout the building.

Installation and Handover

All fixtures were produced in our workshop; installation was planned around the organisation's calendar of use and completed quickly. Long-life LED sources and standard lamp holders reduce the maintenance burden to a minimum, and a commissioning visit after handover fine-tuned the scenarios.

Process and Warranty

As in every project, the process began with a survey: the space was measured, sample units were submitted for approval, production was completed in our workshop and installation was carried out by our own team. All fixtures were delivered with long-life LED sources and easy-to-maintain standard lamp holders and access details. After handover, a commissioning visit fine-tuned the light levels under real conditions of use; our products are covered by warranty against manufacturing defects.

Our Light Comfort Standards

Throughout the guesthouse we applied comfortable illumination of around 200 lux on tables and work surfaces, soft transitions in circulation areas, a fixed colour temperature of 2700 Kelvin and a high colour rendering standard. Night wayfinding lights run until morning at low consumption, and energy costs fell markedly compared with a classical installation.
